Full job description

The Vacheron Constantin Boutique Director is responsible for the development and optimization of the boutique operations by leading and motivating the boutique team to drive sales performance and ensure outstanding client service while maximizing the sales and profit potential of the boutique.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales results, KPIs, maximize profits of the Boutique through the team using programs & techniques
  • Develop clientele for Boutique
  • Propose, define, monitor, and guarantee the implementation of sales action plans
  • Maintain a benchmark in the city to control your market share and define new business opportunities
  • Resolve customer and after-sale issues, requests in an efficient and professional manner Acts as an Ambassador of the Maison, builds direct contact with VICs, continues to grow the CRM database, and ensures a high retention rate
  • Leads the implementation and monitoring of the ROI
  • To initiate & participate in regular PR events to promote and enhance boutique presence with existing & new clientele
  • Planning & execution of marketing activities.
  • Coach, train, motivate and lead by example with a high degree of professionalism
  • Designs the optimum organization, recruits the right profiles, and ensures proactively talent pipeline in his/her boutique.
  • Drives performance and compensation management, ensures people development (monthly one-to-one meeting, regulars follow up on team’s KPIs career committees, mid-year discussions, training & development plans, quarterly and annual performance review), motivates and reinforces engagement
  • Consistently develops strategies to improve individual and team performance
  • Communicates, federates, and motivates the boutique team around the strategy and vision
  • Regular feedback about boutique activity to the Brand Director and HQ
  • Prepare reports pertaining to sales, customer service, accounts, and logistics for weekly reporting
  • Daily and weekly sales and incentive report Customer analysis report Staff Commission and incentive report Petty Cash Float and claims report
  • Responsible for implementation of visual merchandising Maison guidelines: displaying each product correctly while maximizing exposure to generate sales.
  • Participate and support all marketing initiatives to maximize the opportunity to introduce new products to the clients Monitor and review the level of stocks of accessories (catalogues, gifts, boxes, etc.).
  • Control all boutique expenses within budget guidelines
  • Proper control of POS materials and collaterals.
  • Implementation of Brand’s Initiatives, policies, and procedures Adhere to and implement all brand initiatives as directed Is responsible for the respect of all group, Maison and boutique policies
  • Prepare, coordinate and ensure complete and accurate inventories at all times
  • Ensure that all inventories are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Conduct Qualitative security measures in preventing theft and pilferage.
  • Responsible for all stock control documentation is timely and discrepancies are accounted for by documentation Control the quality of stock (scratches, movements, batteries) and ensure all pieces are handled with extra care and in perfect selling condition

Experience:

  • Experience in the luxury timepieces sector in a similar position with managerial experience in sales & customer service.
  • Quality leadership skills to lead the staff to perform to their fullest potential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • To be reliable and independent, outgoing and social
  • To be initiative, reactive, proactive with problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in CRM activities
  • To have demonstrated passion for service and client orientation
  • Written & spoken English, other foreign languages highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of local market; awareness of competitors, clients, trends, ability to prospect
  • Deep understanding of client’s profiles (Locals and tourists)
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office, SAP
