Your new role

Hays Trades and Labour are seeking to speak to all Diesel Mechanics who are looking to welcome their next exciting career move. You will be required to refurbish, maintain, and repair specialised machinery, used within the construction, tunnelling and mining sector.

Day to day you will:

• Maintain and repair client plant and vehicles
• Be Exposure to different types of Civil and Transport engines
• Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Services

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have a career driven and positive attitude, as well as the following.

• Trade Qualified Level 3 Certification in your specific Diesel Automotive Field (Heavy preferred)
• Experience working on plant and civil construction vehicles
• Tickets in all areas of your specialism are beneficial
• Show the ability to work independently
• Experience with welding is looked upon highly
• Have a strong outcome focus on both safety as well as quality
