Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller –

• Preparing journals and verifying that data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion
• Performing reconciliations of accounts and ensuring the timely resolution of issues
• Preparing monthly P&L reports and analyses of accounts and other monthly reports
• Review of daily sales and related inventory movements with supporting documents
• Managing inventory reconciliations and timely resolution of issues/ discrepancies
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Assisting with half yearly audits
• Collaborating with Finance and other departments to work on various accounting projects
• Proactively identifying gaps and contributing creative and innovative ideas that support efficiency, effectiveness or value add

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified or Part qualified CPA/CA Accountant or Assistant Accountant with 3 to 7 years experience from a commerce and industry role.
• Experience in financial accounting Ideally stock accounting exposure would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player and ability to take ownership of tasks
• Experience using a ERP
