Network Architect

Your new company
You will join this managed services environment based on-site with one client to provides IT solutions. They currently have an opportunity for an IT professional to join their supportive and technically minded team in a project-based role for a Government Client.

Your new role
As a Network Engineer / Architect, you’ll become an integral part of the Technology team. Your coordination skills and technical abilities will contribute to your success in this job. You will be responsible for developing & improving network infrastructure. You will be working closely with technology teams, Cyber security team, vendors, service providers and business stake holders.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, the applicant will need to have previous experience working with network devices, coupled with strong communication skills and organisation. You will also need experience on a broad range of technologies including but not limited to:

• Relevant Industry/Professional certifications or Tertiary qualifications
• Switching /Routing, F5 Load balancers, network design, network security/ firewalls, SDWAN and Cloud Networking
• Planning, design and delivery of networking solutions LAN and WAN (Cisco)
• Working closely on Network architecture
• Vendor Management, incident management, Problem solving

• Strong customer service and communication skills

Experience & Certifications with Cisco, AWS, Azure, M365, ITIL are desired but not essential.
