Payroll Officer

Your new company

A leader in their industry, this highly regarded services company is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team. Their office location is based in the North-eastern suburbs of Brisbane.

Your new role

As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll for over 900 employees. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• End to end processing of weekly & fortnightly payroll
• Setting up the onboarding of new starters, terminations, and employee status updates
• Award interpretation
• Liaising with internal managers regarding payroll queries
• Government reporting (such as Single Touch Payroll, Salary Sacrificed Superannuation, Super Guarantee, Government Paid Parental Leave, Child Support, Tax File Number Declaration reporting, etc)

What you'll need to succeed

Your experience working in Payroll will contribute to your success, ideally working with a medium to large payroll (500 employees plus). The following will also support & ensure that you have the required skillset:

• Experience using Payroll systems
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Good literacy & numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated & able to work independently
