Your new role
In your role as the Proposal Coordinator, you will work closely with manage the company’s bids and proposals through the necessary development and approvals process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and executing proposals as part of the business development effort
- Collaborating with key people across the organisation
- Managing the company’s proposal approval process by identifying and documenting the necessary approvals schedule, reserving calendar, and supporting the creation of the approval’s documentation
- Analysing and understanding proposal requirements in order to advise the business of the resources required for proposal preparation and submission
- Preparing the proposal cost estimates for presentation to and approval by Management
- Managing approved proposal budgets including weekly timesheet bookings and material expenditure
- Facilitating proposal preparation through activities such as preparation workshops, coordination of peer reviews, and following up action items from various reviews and meetings
- Providing editorial support as needed to ensure the highest standard of presentation and proposal quality
- Ensuring that bid deliverables are to the appropriate levels of quality, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the bid plans
- Participating in the tracking and reporting of the company sales opportunities using the company-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in Proposal Coordinator role within the Defence Industry. You will also possess:
- Technical background knowledge
- ASDEFCON experience
- Confident in ITAR and EAR regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A team focused approach to their work
Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a NV1 clearance or higher.
