Senior Planning Officer

Your new company
This State Government Agency based in Western Sydney work on pivotal water resource planning projects within NSW and are looking to bring on a Senior Planning Officer to aid with increased workload.

Your new role
The Senior Planning Officer will take on a lead role in the assessment of various state significant infrastructure projects including dams, weirs, regulating structures, pipelines and treatment plants. You will work on a wide range of planning matters and must be able to manage the delivery of competing assessment project outcomes whilst managing the different and competing interests of various external agencies along with stakeholder and community expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have excellent report writing skills and have worked to a senior level within NSW Planning. Within this role you will be working on some of the more complex and contentious State significant infrastructure projects therefore experience assessing a broad range of developments is vital.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a highly competitive salary of $64-68 per hour + Super dependant on experience as well as an initial 6-month contract.
