Rosemary Hamilton and her crew need your votes to take away the 2013 People’s Choice Awards for the best fish and chips.
Rosemary said wherever possible she buys her fish from the fishermen’s co-operative next door, with all fish labelled as to which fishing vessel it came from.
Blue Wave, along with several other Bermagui eateries, got a mention in last year’s Good Food Guide as a top provedore of seafood.
The Bermagui Fishermen’s Co-operative meanwhile won the award for the Best Supplier (NSW) in that last biennial awards in 2011, and is again submitting an entry in this year’s competition.
To cast your vote for Blue Wave Seafood, you have until August 5 to send an SMS to 0421 262 602 saying it has the best fish & chips.
All voters go into a draw to win a $250 Sydney Seafood School voucher, where you can cook up a feast at one of the popular seafood cooking classes or even cook under the guidance of one of the school’s celebrity guest-chefs from some of Sydney’s top restaurants.
