Club President Warren Bender brought proceedings to a close and thanked Major Sponsor, Ray Gale of the Apollo Units for his continued sponsorship, it is most appreciated. Tournaments need lots of background support and so a thank you to John Downie the Tournament Director, to all the umpires and the able assistants, Merrie Downie, Neville Mitchell, Sandra Bloch, Pat McNamara and Barbara McNamara who put in lots of hours to keep the show on the road. Thanks also to the Narooma Women's Bowling Club members who also helped so generously and to the staff at Club Narooma who kept all the local and visiting bowlers satisfied with your friendly service. Finally a great thank you to the hard working greens staff for the great job they have done with the greens, they ran extremely well throughout the week.
