Junior Raiders at Bermi
FORMER Narooma Devil player Michael Mantelli is now the junior development coach at the Canberra Raiders rugby league team.
On the weekend he brought 37 players from the National Youth Competition squad to Bermagui for their preseason camp.
Mantelli said they hold the camp every year to see how the players are progressing since preseason in November.
In previous years, they have held the camp in Mollymook, Batemans Bay, Tathra and maybe next year in Narooma!
Mantelli started out in the Junior Devils in 1980 and then played senior grade in 83, 84 and 85.
