A SUCCESSFUL fundraiser was held at Club Narooma on Saturday night to get the dollars needed to send Lilly Bennett and Connor Griffiths to Canada to compete at an international Little Athletics tournament.
WITH MELISSA: Connor Griffiths and Lilly Bennett with former Olympic skeleton racer Melissa Hoar who like the kids got her start sprinting on Narooma surf beach.
SURF SISTAS: Winning the trivia at the Little Athletics fundraiser at Club Narooma was the Surf Sistas table including Sammee McCarthy, Sue Lawson, Debbie Turvey, Belinda Weston, Adam, Dickie Bird, Jane Rogerson, trivia master Podge Rogerson and Lin Wilton.

A great night was had by all with trivia quiz master Mark “Podge” Rogerson asking the questions – questions that were answered most correctly by the Surf Sistas table proving they have brains and beauty.
Lilly and Connor’s grandfather Bob Bennett meanwhile conducted the auction of goods donated by businesses around Narooma.
Also there for the night was former Olympic skeleton racer Melissa Hoar, who like the kids got her start sprinting on Narooma surf beach.
Cousins Lilly and Connor have just been selected to attend a Little Athletics training camp and competition in Canada in July.
