Saturday saw a contingent of present parents and staff and ex-students combine to help spruce the school ready for the main event. Thanks to all who were able to help!
We have had lots of phone calls and letters from people who are coming or are unable to come - all wishing us well for the weekend.
David Pearson, son of principal (1949-1953), Oliver Pearson and Geoff Pollock, grandson of principal (1953-1961) Robert Pollock have been in touch.
David will be with us on the weekend. Geoff was in town three weeks ago “having a look at Robert’s fantastic view of Montague Island”.
The raffle has been going well - Myra and Elaine were on duty Saturday, having a wonderful catch-up with passers-by.
Tickets will be on sale through Friday and Saturday March 21-22 - it will be drawn during the cocktail evening on Saturday.
A “Meet and Greet” afternoon tea will now be in the library as numbers have risen and another class formed.
The hall has been converted to another classroom. (Trivia in 1889 - 1 class, 1900 - 60 enrolments, 1989 - 14 classes, 2014 - 17 classes!)
Tickets for the cocktail evening will finish selling, for catering purposes, on Wednesday, March 19 - so please get in fast.
The committee has had a great response for the tickets so avoid disappointment and purchase your tickets at the golf club now - $30/each.
