There are reports of rainfall of more than 120mm at Central Tilba overnight while the automated weather station at Montague Island recorded a reading of 86mm up to 9am Monday morning.
As we write this at 11am on Monday, the rain continues to belt down with another 3mm already recorded at Montague.
Forecasts are however calling for up to 100mm today on the South Coast.
We are hearing reports that the duck pond at Dalmeny is quickly filling up after months of being dry.
There are no reports of any damage or weather-related incidents in the Narooma Bermagui area as of mid-morning on Wednesday, although traffic was disrupted on the Kings Highway after another rock slide on the Clyde Mountain.
