AT board training on Friday the Narooma Surf Lifesaving Club Nippers paddled from the net to the bridge and had a fun finish. It was a fantastic achievement for all the kids who participated.

The Narooma Nippers couldn't have asked for better conditions to finish Sunday mornings at Main Beach. The recent rain had let out Little Lake, providing a fun 'skim boarding' activity which was very popular. The lovely warm morning was finished off with an All Age Egg Relay.
The group of Nippers were divided into teams which had to tag each other through the novelty relay, the older ones helping our grommets through the course. Down the newly formed sand bank, a wade through Little Lake, up the bank, a sprint to the Easter egg stash, down the bank again, over the mini hurdles, a last run up the bank and back to their team mates. Even our Age Managers in their Mitre 10 blue shirts participated which added to the entertainment.
Thanks to everyone who has made this season run so well with your positive attitude, support and assistance. The Nippers have blown us away with their improved confidence and beach skills, many already making plans for next season.
The season end has been brought forward by a couple of weeks due to the clash with winter sports. The club will still be patrolling on weekends and public holidays up until Anzac Day so don't be a stranger, especially with this beautiful weather we're still lucky enough to have.
Anzac Day will be an all-in clean-up day where we pack up, clean up, sweep out, hose off and repair all our gear - everyone is encouraged to attend.
Save the Date: End of Season Presentation Saturday, May 17.
Congratulations to the five new patrolling members who recently gained their Surf Rescue Certificate, having participated in the five week course at the club and then participating in the branch run camp Wambiri.
Kelly Howes, Elizabeth Halsey, Riley Miles, Cooper Carruthers and Kyal Morris attended with parents John Carruthers, Ryan Miles and Melissa Halsey assisting.
