The meeting is intended to provide information about the state of play concerning the latest Development Approval for the proposed Woolworths, and to provide people with an opportunity to express their views concerning the way ahead.
One of the organisers Paul Payten said the meeting was well attended by people of all ages.
A motion was passed at the end of the meeting to contact the chief executive officer of Woolworths to attempt to pass on the grassroots concern about the impact of the project on Bermagui and its existing businesses.
The meeting also called on the council to come to Bermagui to speak with the concerned residents, who allege there was no community consultation with the second DA.
