Nick Cowley on Playstation reports it was very tough as leatherjackets kept getting the live bait.
He and his clients only managed four kings, including the nice one pictured here that went 90+cm and a few snapper. There were also bonito on offer
The arvo has been producing a few more kingies and the current was ripping with the pro boats huddled at the current line all afternoon, so they must have done well.
Now just one extra, looks like from his Facebook page that Mitch Mikolic and son Jake have been killing it on the mullet – well done boys as they are not easy to catch!
Finally, we here the potters from the "On the Edge of the Shelf" international wood-fired ceramics festival at Mystery Bay have been getting out and doing some fishes on the beaches.
The internationals got three whopper salmon fishing Tilba cemetery beach, taking them back to Corunna to be smoked - not in the kiln though!
