A WORK utility vehicle working on the Tuross River bank rehabilitation project at Snake Flat on Bumbo Road ended up in water on Wednesday.
The driver was able to climb onto the back of the ute that was eventually recovered. The creek rehab project meanwhile is progressing well.
Fridge rider
POLICE spotted a Subaru driving down Mort Avenue, Dalmeny on Sunday morning towing a trailer with an upfront fridge being held by a person.
The driver and person in the trailer holding the fridge were issued with a $304 fine.
School damage
AROUND $1600 worth of damage was caused at Narooma High School overnight on Sunday when five lunch tables were spray painted with graffiti and a window broken.

A LOCAL man was charged with low-range drink driving after failing a breath test at Duesburys Beach, Dalmeny on Saturday morning.
Unlicensed driver
A 39-year-old local man driving a Landcruiser stopped on Bank Street, Cobargo on Saturday afternoon for a breath test was issued a court notice for driving while disqualified.
Shed used
AN outbuilding at a residence on Dalmeny Drive, Kianga was entered between last Monday and Wednesday. Nothing was taken but drink containers and cigarette butts were left behind.
Dump damage
SOMEONE cut a screen and attempted to force the lock on a window at the Bermagui waste and recycling centre overnight on Saturday.
Scooter located
A SILVER JD Bug scooter found at Apex Park, Narooma on May 16 can be claimed at the police station.
