33 gymnasts attended the competition including eight gymnasts from Tathra Gymnastics. The competition was for Levels 1-5 (using ACT State routines) at the Bermagui Public School Hall.
This event was in preparation for the competition to be held in Canberra next month.
Results:
Level 1: First Liana Hummel, second Abby May, third Makenzie Belk and Chelsea Tyrrell.
Level 2: First Grace Bailey, second Ruby Christmass, third Charlotte Stubbs, Jasmin Scott, Phoebe Gilham, Ruby O’Leary, Jasinta Puglisi, Elly White, Zoe White, Maeve Leung and Chloe Tyrrell.
Level 3: First Mia Boyce, second Brookie Stubbs, third Chelsea Hoare, Willow Unsworth, Seanna Markwort, Jaycee Cantrill, Libby Cunningham, Freya MacRae, Alison Stubbs and Bridie Cotton.
Level 4: First Jasmine Trickey, second Kaitlyn Hoare, third Angelita Hochkins, Ella Brown and Maddi Thornton.
Level 5: First Sharlee Cantrill, second Sophia Puccetti, third Kyeesha Aldridge Huntley.
Winners of the handstand competitions were Abby May (Level 1), Jasmin Scott (Level 2), Mia Boyce (Level 3), Jasmine Trickey (Level 4) and Sharlee Cantrill (Level 5).
A special mention to Sophia Puccetti (Level 5), Sabine Kildea and Hayley Stark (Level 6) who travelled to Wanniassa (ACT) to compete on Sunday July 6 and did a great job representing our club.
All gymnasts had fun and have worked hard, resulting in many progressing to the next level. Well done to those who competed and congratulations to all gymnasts on their great routines.
