But this week and wanted to take a his new kayak out and finally get a bream on a hard-body lure – ticking that off his bucket list.
Well he managed to do that and then some getting a great 45cm bream at his favourite local lake.
“Got him on a hard body lure, was funny was a few firsts today - got my first bream on lure, first bream in new kayak, and the first time I’ve been towed by a bream lol” Anthony wrote on his Facebook.
It wasn’t all plain sailing as his first bream on a lure was just a tiny little tacker.
Well done Anthony and even better the big bream was released back into the estuary – lovely to see!
