Narooma RSL sub-branch president Paul Naylor and treasurer Jon King had travelled to Canberra after receiving an invitation to the Australian War Memorial commemoration in Canberra so Narooma RSL sub branch junior vice president Jeff Iles led the Narooma commemoration.
About 80 people braved the inclement weather to attend the commemoration which was held under the awning Club Narooma.
