It was an awesome day on Wagonga Inlet for Darren “Dash” Bowater from the Narooma Ocean Hut Compleat Angler and especially for his new apprentice Tricia who not only equaled his tally of 10 fish but also managed the biggest salmon and flathead at 53cm, not bad for only her second time using lures.

“I would say the apprentice has almost become the master. This is a good lesson for all of us men that tell our partners it takes years of practice and experience to master the art of lure fishing.
