Tara vandalism – Unknown people threw a plastic bag filled with paint at one of the new signs at the Tara Apartments on the Princes Highway, Narooma sometime between 7pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday. The paint damaged the sign and associated lighting. If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any information, contact Narooma police on 4476 2044 or Crimestoppers in 1800 333 000.

Dalmeny thefts – Police suspect the same individual may have been responsible for a spate of thefts at Dalmeny that were reported early on Wednesday morning.
One camper at the Dalmeny campground reported a gas cylinder, gas cooker and six cans of beer were stolen overnight, while another camper reported the theft of a bicycle. There were also reports of newspapers being stolen at the newsagents at the shopping centre across the road.
Bermagui parking – Police at Bermagui are warning they may issue tickets to drivers doing the wrong thing and parking in loading zones on the main street of Bermagui, which has been an ongoing problems in recent weeks.
Bay arrest – Batemans Bay police stopped a motor vehicle about 6.35pm on Friday at Ocean Road, Batehaven after reports of suspicious activity. A search located an alleged quantity of cannabis. Vehicle registration plates were alleged to be have been located in a foot well.
The 17-year-old female driver was arrested after a positive roadside reading for alcohol. She was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station. She has been charged with mid-range PCA, possess prohibited drug and two counts of larceny.
