The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) helicopter spotted a 2.5 metre white shark off Moruya Heads Beach just before 9am on January 11.
Lifeguarding Services Australia has closed Broulee, North Head and Moruya beaches. They are expected to remain closed until at least 10am.
