From the first training session last week the boys have shown enthusiasm and skill as well as player numbers as they train with the senior coach Clint Wright and the older players that they one day will replace in first grade.
Under the coaching of head coach Mark Lonsdale and assistant coach Kerry Day the boys are looking good going into a big year of Under 18 footy, which often provides the toughest game of the day.
The Senior Devils, which constitute first and reserve grade, are training well though we are still looking for those who have yet to emerge from hibernation and also we are really looking for new players to replace those who have moved or retired. It’s never too late to pull on the boots.
Our girls League Tag team are also really in need of a boost after losing a few key players so if you are looking for some fun and good friendship come along to training and check it out. It’s non-contact, more fun than touch, so give it a go!
Training times this season have changed to coordinate better with our AFL friends with Tuesday training for all grades at 6pm and Thursdays at 6.30pm.
Don’t delay your decision to play for the Narooma Devils as we need you to ensure full grades this year. It’s a great club, full of great guys and girls, so come and have some fun!
