VIEW Clubs are a valued part of The Smith Family, with members contributing significant fundraising and volunteer support to help Australian children in need, to reach their potential through education.
Each month we have an interesting guest speaker – this month we have Indie Carmichael, who is the Arts and Culture coordinator at Eurobodalla Shire Council.
Throughout the year we have guest speakers covering a wide variety of interests to do with health, art, community, local identities etc.
Last year we had a former Olympian, who gave such an interesting and inspiring talk which left us all with a greater understanding of what it takes to be an Olympic Athlete and represent Australia.
Our meetings are held in the best location, which is envied by many other VIEW Clubs. Whilst enjoying our lunch and catching up with friends, we get to look at the amazing view from the Narooma Golf Club windows to the ocean and at certain times of year, see the whales migrating north and returning south later in the year. If you have been thinking of getting involved in the community or you would like to meet other like minded women, then come along to a meeting and you will be made very welcome.
Our meetings are held on the fourth Friday of each month in the Seahorse Room at Narooma Golf Club.
We meet at 11am for an 11.30am start, with this months meeting being on Friday, April 28. If you would like to come along as a guest, then please phone Helen on 4476 8086 for more information.
If you are already a member and haven't confirmed your attendance, please also phone Helen before Tuesday, April 25 for catering purposes.
