The Narooma AFL Lions seniors travelled to Tathra on Saturday for a top-of-the table clash, with the winners to be on the top of the SCAFL ladder after the end of the day.
Narooma has not beaten Tathra at home for many years so it was going to be a big ask. With game in the balance for most of the day it was again the Lion’s youth and fitness that got them home.
The Narooma boys are playing with great purpose and really seem to be enjoying their footy. Keep up the good work.

While the seniors were at Tathra, the balance of the club travel to Tuross to take on the Moruya/Broulee Giants at Tuross Heads.
In the reserves, team Narooma took on newcomers Moruya/Broulee Giants at Tuross. Another great win by the boys sees them also on top of the ladder.
The good mixture of speed and the ability with a great blend of youth and experience played very well and put together a great team effort..

The women’s team won their third match in a row with another big win. With a few players unavailable the girls had fight hard all day with limited numbers. Every player played their roll perfectly to come away with a great win.

The Under 16s battled hard all day again for not much success. Keep going boys as it will improve in time; final scores; 13-14-92 to 2-2-14. Mor/Broulee win. -
