Most exciting news is the inclusion of Maggi, the first women to enter the water with the world-famous Bondi Icebergs. Now a resident of Bermagui, Maggi is true blue blood, winter swimming royalty.
Maggi was quick to raise the bar and stayed in the water the longest to be awarded the Bermagui Gelati Clinic award for the week.
This week the Blue Balls are playing host to the Wollongong Whales and swimming at 9am on Saturday, not the normal Sunday, in front of the surf club at Horseshoe Bay. Bring your togs, courage and sense of humour.
The Bermagui swimmers and visiting Whales will then be attending the Narooma Numnutz’ 10th anniversary celebration on Saturday night.
