The 2017 Sporting Shooters Association of Australia NSW Narooma HuntFest was a success, according to the organisers from the South Coast Hunters Club.

President Dan Field aid he was very pleased with the crowd at the Narooma Sport and Leisure Centre.
This year was a record with 2700 people counted through gates over the Saturday and Sunday, although it was more likely to be closer to 3000 people, Mr Field said.
“We were overwhelmed,” he said, adding that there were also more than 150 people at O’Briens Hotel on Sunday evening for the photo comp announcement. The major raffle with prizes worth more than $1000 was won by a young woman from Moruya.
In addition to the usual sporting goods and equipment stalls, rifle and archery ranges, deer dressing demonstrations and venison offerings. this year there were even more stalls outdoors including 4-wheel drives and boats, he said.
There were also record entries into the photo and DVD competition.
