Emergency services have hauled a sunken vessel from the Clyde River in Batemans Bay on Saturday.
Bystander Ted Richards said firefighters arrived on scene at about 8.30am and the vessel was later refloated and lifted out of the water with a crane at about 4pm.
“At the time they didn't know why it had sunk,” Mr Richards said.
“A (private) four-wheel drive with a winch attached a cable to keep it steady while the hazmats were put in place using an oyster farmer's boat.”
