The Narooma comets came up against the Bodalla bullets in what turned out to be a very tight match. The scores where very even up until the end of the 3rd quarter, when Narooma's improved fitness, defensive skills and accurate shooting got them over the line.

Outstanding in GD was Lillian with Ruby and Brodie also being reliable and making it very difficult for the usually very accurate Lauren Barry to shoot.
The regular shooting practice that Leah and Luka have been undertaking made a huge difference down the other end of the court, despite some impressive defence from Lauren smart.
The improved accuracy of Leah and Luka shooting has made all the difference at the pointy end of the season. As usual Charlotte, Heidi, Lani and Allie-Mae were consistent in finding spaces and creating opportunities in the mid court. Final score was Narooma 26 to Bodalla 17.
The Narooma Nightmares are definitely winners in the eyes of their coaches!
Last time the Nightmares played Broulee Bay Coast and Plumbing, the difference in scores was eight points. This week the difference was only four points!
We missed Sienna this week due to illness, but once again, each of the girls took to the court with a job to do and they were exceptional.
At half time B.B.C. & P had pulled away from the Nightmares and with Hollie coming off injured, fortunately Lani from the Comets stepped up a grade and played a terrific third quarter. All looked lost until 5 minutes before the end of the game when there was only a one point difference.
Everyone held their breath. Players for the following game stopped and watched excitedly. It was definitely a nail biter until the end. Congratulations to all of the players for an engaging game.
The spirit and attitude in these girls is to be commended. Regrettably, Broulee Bay Coast and Plumbing defeated the Nightmares 36-32
The Narooma Novas played Tuross with their continuously improving skills on display resulting in another convincing win. With the man of the match award going to Lucy for her will power and dedication.
Net Set Go Skills 5-7 yrs
'Narooma net-set-go team, the shooting stars played a rough game against the Narooma Seahorses. Both teams played an incredible game but the Seahorses coming out on top. Captain Meah played wonderfully in all the positions she was put in. Our voucher this week went to Libby for a great game and positive mind set. All the girls should be very proud of the game they played. But as well as playing well they also had fun and playing against friends also made it a lot more enjoyable for both teams. Keep up the good work girls.'
Ruby, Carlie, Taya, Jasmine, Eva and Ilah have loved their time participating in the skills sessions at Broulee Netball courts each week. Their coaches make each week lots of fun with a variety of games including lots of practice shooting hoops and throwing/catching the netball. Keep up the great practice girls!
