7th annual Legacy Golf Day at Narooma is a success

The 7th annual Legacy Golf Day at the beautiful - if a little windy – Narooma golf course on Friday, August 18. 

It was another successful day, raising $3400, due to the amazing support given by the golfers, the many sponsors and the band of helpers.

Narooma Legattee and event organiser Dierdre Landells said a big thank-you to all.

“This day, plus Badge Week, next week, is pretty much our fund raising for the year. This enables us to provide a little support and maybe a bit of joy, to our approximately 160 war widows in this area,” she said. 

“Legacy also now has broadened its assistance to include the wives and families of recently returned servicemen who find themselves in crises. So our work will go on.”

Longest Drive – Men – A. Butterworth, who also won the Golden Hole.

Longest Drive 30+   Men- C. Boxsell. Women- R. Yeoman.
