Each year, 1000 rubber ducks are released on the Bermagui River to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW and Can Assist.
Now in its sixth year, the CRABs expect to push their donation total above $330,000 after the race.
Purchase a duck for $5 for the 150m race. First place wins $300, second place $150 and lucky last a $50 prize.
Sixteen businesses have sponsored giant ride-on ducks for a second 100m race, expected to draw plenty of audience involvement and sabotage by flour-bomb.
The race begins at 11am, under the bridge at Bermagui.
Taking part will be infamous Duck #119, who went missing after the 2014 race, only to reappear two years later at the Bermagui Blue Pool.
Ducks can be purchased at the Bermagui Visitor Information Centre, Horizon 2, Bermagui Equipment Harbourside or by contacting Jim Gilchrist on 0407 880 109 or jim@gilchristtax.com.au.
