The Narooma Flames played the Broulee-Moruya Fireflies (BMF) in the semi-final on Saturday.
The Flames came out strong with Clarinda, Layla and Sarah in defence and Milana, Erica, Maddie and Erin in attack, leading 8-4 by the end of the first quarter.
Then, in the second quarter the awesome set plays and teamwork particularly by Milana and Erica in the goal circle was incredible and The Flames led 26-5.
Although, they had a solid score The Flames knew that the BMF would come out strong in the second half. coach Melissa Cafe employed some tactical changes and The Flames led at the end of the third quarter, 32-11. In the final quarter the BFM came out fighting, however they were not able to defeat our girls with a final score of 37-24. We wish The Flames all the best for the Grand Final next Saturday.
