Adults with longstanding serious mental illness and complex needs now have access to extra free clinical services in the Eurobodalla.
Grand Pacific Health’s mental health recovery services coordinator, Linda Campbell, said a Moruya-based worker drove between Batemans Bay and Narooma to deliver services on demand or according to need.
“It is provided by a team of credentialed mental health nurses, allied health professionals and mental health peer workers,” Ms Campbell said.
“Other service providers and supports are also engaged in care planning and service provision.”
Core services include:
- A comprehensive holistic assessment
- Clinical support and management
- Collaborative wellness planning
- Care and service coordination
Anyone interested in using the service should talk to their GP or medical practitioner.
People can contact the service’s mental health access team directly on 1800 228 987 or visit www.gph.org.au
The service is funded by the South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network.
