Roy and Doris Boxsell celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Saturday, October 28 surrounded by family and friends.

Roy and Doris met in Bodalla in early 1940s and married at St John’s Church, Moruya on August 30, 1947.
They spent their married life in Bodalla, where Roy worked on Bodalla company properties at Greenway, Gannons Point and Silo farm. He then worked as a driver picking up milk from the farms around Bodalla.
Roy also was an active member of the congregation and served for over 50 years at All Saints Church at Bodalla.
Their seven children are Mary from Coffs Harbour, Colin from Narooma, David from Potato Point, Janice from Moruya, Phillip who is deceased, Sandra from Queensland and Pam from Eden.
Roy and Doris now have 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. They now reside at the Estia Health facility in Dalmeny.
