Paramedics were called to a Jacarandah Avenue address around 10.45am on Thursday, November 9.
The man was treated at the scene for cuts to both legs before he was transported to Milton Ulladulla Hospital in a stable condition.
Attending paramedic Rob Hilliar said the man fed the local roos each morning and one became particularly aggressive.
“He’s a lovely bloke who spoils them a little, feeding them jam and cream on toast,” he said.
“On this occasion one of the roos was in a bad mood and pushed him over.”
From August to October this year, paramedics have attended 38 incidents involving kangaroos, three for wombats and two for possums.
The incidents largely involved collisions with motor vehicles.
