The Montague Arts and Crafts Society welcomed the support of members who came out to the opening of the new shared studios at the Narooma Men’s Shed complex at 24 Glasshouse Rocks Road.
Several members set up craft maker's stalls for visitors to browse and buy. Members of the Narooma Men's Shed also showed their creative talents and both groups look forward to working together in the future.
For new members to MACS, this promises to be an exciting chance to meet experienced instructors using the large studio spaces to teach new art and craft skills.
Textile groups such as felting and general sewing use the venue on Mondays, with mosaics on Wednesdays and life drawing on Friday morning. These self-help group times will be interspersed with tutorial groups.
If you want to learn a craft or join MACS or just work with others on your own level, then please ring for information on 4476 2881.
