Federal MP Dr Mike Kelly, has agreed to open the Clean Energy for Eternity public meeting in Bermagui  at 2pm on Sunday, December 10 at the Bermagui Country Club.

Mike Kelly has been a long time supporter of renewable energy. He has shown a keen interest in pumped hydro for energy storage and it is good to see his interest is still strong.

The Bermagui public meeting will cover the potential for renewable energy in the Bega Valley. It will include technical details of usage and generation and also look at measuring and improving energy efficiency in your home.

At the meeting there will be information on possible bulk buy options, with or without battery storage. Community-owned energy options will be explored as will solutions for domestic or commercial premises that are not able to host solar panels.

Dr Kelly also recently  opened the Rotary Renewable Energy Expo in Narooma on Saturday, November 25.
