Eurobodalla Shire Council will begin spraying 520km of urban and rural roadsides shire-wide, and on the Kings Highway, from Monday, December 11 to control woody weeds, shrubs and trees.
The spraying will reduce hazards caused by tree and shrub growth and help protect road pavements from tree root damage.
Metsulfuron (Brush-Off) and Glyphosate (Roundup) will be used and motorists are asked to take care around the slow-moving spraying vehicles. Spraying is due to finish on Friday, December 22, weather permitting.
For details phone the shire’s maintenance planning officer Daniel Weekes on 4474 7403.
