The AWL December meeting and Christmas party was held at the lovely estate home of vice president Shelagh Ingram at Bingie on the weekend.
More than 30 branch members work at raising funds, foster caring at their homes, advertising pets, re-training for future re-homing, taking pets for vet treatments and much more.
The work is interesting and very rewarding and the branch welfare officer reports a steady climb in success rates.
Our male Staffy dog Hugo has found his forever home and we now have only three cats in care; Sandy, 1 year old peach torbi, Missy, a tortoiseshell/white 2 year old, and Trixie, 2, with muted colouring.
The AWL cat carer is training the newest kittens in to use the litter tray successfully and they will soon be available to new homes.
If you can help by adopting a pet or by volunteering just a few hours a month, then please phone for information to the AWL Eurobodalla Branch on 0410 016 612.
