Cobargo AP&H Society added a new event to its calendar with a combined showgirl presentation and Christmas supper dance earlier this month.

Six prospective showgirls attended interviews and afternoon tea at Richard and June Tarlinton's property in Wandella. The two senior and four junior contestants all interviewed to a high standard, making the judges decision difficult.
Sally Hoyer was named Cobargo Showgirl for 2018 and Claudia Bartlett Junior Showgirl.
The formal presentation and supper was held at the Cobargo School of Arts Hall.
Mandy and John Jessop entertained guests with a mix of country rock and crowd favourite barn dancing.
