The major feature item for discussion will be the society’s planned exhibition in the SoART Gallery in November to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War and the declaration of Peace.
The Society’s working group, consisting of Eleanor Robin, Paula Williams, Phil Creagh and Laurelle Pacey, has been hard at work over the last few weeks firming up on the exhibition content.
They are keen to tap into the ideas of other members and people in the wider community, particularly descendants of those listed in the Honour Rolls for the First World War, located on on front wall of Kinema, to ensure the exhibition’s success.
The focus of the exhibition will be on those who went to War and on what was happening in the Narooma during the War.
