Bergalia accident – Two vehicles collided at about 10.25am on Thursday, February 8 near the intersection of the Princes Highway and Beashels Quarry Road at Bergalia. A 63-year-old local man driving one vehicle was treated at the scene. A 68-year-old local woman who was driving the other vehicle was taken to Moruya Hospital and then to Canberra. Her car hit a tree after the initial collision. Investigations continue.

Bank fraud – A local 50-year-old woman was charged with fraud after allegedly attempting to steal $800 from a bank in Midtown Narooma on Thursday, February 8.
Campground thefts – Camping chairs, fishing rods, and fishing gear were stolen from three campsites at the Bermagui caravan park early on Saturday morning, February 10.
Unclaimed bikes – There are up to eight unclaimed bicycles either lost or recovered in the Bermagui area in recent months that can be claimed by calling Bermagui police at 6493 4244.
Plate stolen – A number plate was stolen from a box trailer parked at a Dalmeny residence since September.
Papers lost – A folder containing personal papers was lost at the Narooma Plaza complex on Thursday, February 1. Contact Narooma police on 4476 2044.
