Festival spokeswoman Lynne Griffiths said there were varied ways for the Eurobodalla’s artists to get involved.
“We are taking entries for our premiere competition, the River of Art – 2018 Art Prize, now” Ms Griffiths said.
“Entries close April 20, and finalists for this prestigious event will be selected by a panel of three highly-regarded local artists, and exhibited at the SoART Gallery in Narooma.”
Ms Griffiths also highlighted a new exhibition for 2018; the inaugural Land of Many Waters competition.
Ms Griffiths said the Narooma’s contribution to this exhibit would be the ‘Mosaicosphere’.
“Mosaic artists and crafters are invited to intepret the festival theme in any material they choose, but mounted on a set-sized marine-ply board,” she said.
“All the individual mosaics will be combined to make up a stunning display – the Mosaicosphere – hung in the Montague Room, at Club Narooma.”
The four-day festival runs from May 17 to 20. Ms Griffiths said the full River of Art festival program would be out just before Easter.
