The Girl’s Mod League tag team were victorious over last year’s premiers, the Bega Chicks, 34-6.
The Little She-Devils fired up and proved to the Bega Chicks they are after that premiership this season.
The girls know that hard work and commitment will get them back to the finals and so far they are undefeated.
A special mention to Malayah who opened up the scoring with a full length of the field try and then scored again not long after.
The under 10s defeated Bega 34-6, but conditions had worsened by the time the under 12s took the field. Bega took the home ground advantage to win 18-10.
In under 14s, Narooma was defeated by two points with the final score 12-10.
Girls International League Tag went down fighting with a great performance from a team with a lot of first year players. The older and more experienced Bega team won the game 32-12.
Player of the match for Narooma was new recruit Sienna Anderson, with a special mention to Aloha Thompson who also put in a great performance on the wing.
The under 16s were the final game of the day, with every player stepping up for a gritty 8-6 victory.
A special mention to Michael and Hayden who played up after their under 14s game, and sustained a crazy amount of pressure in a very physical encounter.
