The wins mean Narooma has now won three games for the season, after their victory over the Candelo Pink Panthers last weekend.
The girls started with a tough match against Batemans Bay, who had won five games already in 2018.
The early kickoff (10am) didn’t affect the home side, as their defensive positioning and tagging was top notch in a first half that saw tries to both Kira Campbell and Renee Hoare.
The Tigerettes steadied the ship early in the second half through Sheree Meyn, but a second-half hat-trick to Wyrlka Colburn saw the home side run out 24-4 winners.
The second half was the best footy the She-Devils had played so far this year, as they broke the Tigerettes’ line on almost every.
Colburn was the standout, but nearly every player got involved in the line-break party, with a number of promising breaks only stopped by the desperate tagging of Tigerettes’ full-back Georgia Laverack.
Colburn was named Players’ Player for the first match, while Leena Campbell won the coaches award.
The second match proved to be even more lopsided, as the She-Devils beat the Phoenix 32-4 in a 12.30pm kickoff.
Colburn started the second match as she left off the first, scoring another breakaway try for an early 4-0 lead. She would convert her try to get the She-Devils off to the perfect start.
Is was one-way traffic from there, as tries to Kira Campbell and Riana Foster built a 14-0 lead.
Tathra hit back just before half time, but they couldn’t contain the home side in the second half, as they ran in four more unanswered tries.
Kira Campbell got herself a hat-trick in the win, while Renee Hoare scored in both matches.
Nerida Ladmore was named players’ player for the second match, with Riana Foster taking home the coaches award.
