The Narooma Sapphires were unable to fill a team this week, as the majority of girls were participating in the Narooma busking festival.
The Narooma Supernovas put up a fantastic fight, but the Broulee Blizzards where too good on the day. Thanks to all the girls who played up and backed up with two consecutive games.
We had some amazing defensive action and our attack was fast paced. Despite the loss the girls had a great time.
The Narooma Shooting Stars played an amazing game but also went down to Broulee. The girls showed great skill and teamwork, not giving up the whole game.
Team captain Sierra Cowley showed that she is the master of intercepts again this week. Player of the match, Topaz Dudley, showing her brilliant skills in attack.
The Narooma Comets v the Narooma Nightflames was a great game of friendly competition and sportsmanship. The older Nightflames came away with the win but the Comets fought very competitively till the end.
The ball was contested well in both attack and defence despite the big age and height difference, especially when the Jones sisters came up against each other. This shows the great depth of skill within our club.
All teams are back on board next Saturday at Broulee if any spectators want to book tickets in advance.
