Unfortunately there are many misconceptions regarding joining Probus Narooma.

It is thought that you must be a past member of Rotary International, that you must be formally invited by the committee to join, that you have to have been a professional business person or that there is usually a long waiting list.

There are no such conditions nor is there a waiting list to join Probus Narooma.

The only requirement is that you are an active retiree who enjoys the company of vibrant and interesting people.

Probus International publishes the Active Retirees magazine and Active Retirees E-Newsletter.

These publications provide details of travel groups, interesting trips – overseas or Australia – access to Probus Member Benefits Scheme, travel insurance plans and much more.

Probus Narooma meets on the last Monday of the month from 10.15am in the Montague Room of Narooma Sports Club. There is guest speaker and the third Wednesday of each month is a social outing. For those without transport there is always someone willing to offer you a lift.
