A Wallagoot man who allegedly wounded another man during an altercation on the Far South Coast last month has been granted bail to receive mental health treatment and check into rehabilitation.

Andrew McCaw, 31, of Wallagoot, has been in custody since the alleged incident took place at his property on May 26, 2018.
McCaw faces two charges, including: wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and contravening an AVO.
On Monday, June 25, McCaw faced Batemans Bay Local Court via audio-visual link where he was granted strict bail to attend a psychiatric hospital in Sydney to receive mental health treatment.
He was also ordered to check into a rehabilitation facility following his release from hospital.
McCaw is prohibited from being within 100km of Wallagoot while on bail and will need to reside in Western Sydney.
The matter will return to court on July 23.
