Lyn Hastings, of Narooma Rotary, confirmed the group held a rally on Sunday, to support children with kidney disease, and she understood one car had hit a tree. A police spokesman said a Toyota RAV 4 collided with a tree on German Creek Road at Wamban at about 12.30pm on August 5. He said the 32-year-old-male driver lost control after braking on a bend. The passenger side of the car hit the tree, and a 28-year-old-male passenger was taken to Moruya Hospital, then flown to Canberra, with suspected fractured ribs, police said. The driver returned a negative breath test.
Overnight on Wednesday, August 1, an old boat was dumped on a vacant block at 63 Dalmeny Drive, Kianga. The boat is in poor condition. If anyone has any information, contact Narooma Police.
